Mardi Himal Trek is off the beaten trek which is least popular and quieter trekking spot on the base of Mardi Himal and most iconic Mt. Machhapuchhre popularly known as Fish Tail. If you want to avoid the crowded place, then Mardi Himal Trek is the right on for you. The trail is very short and has small but wide path, where you can enjoy the breathtaking rhododendron forest on the top that, your exhaustion turns into exhilaration as soon as the rugged landscape precipitously changes into jaw dropping view of Mardi Himal, Mt. Machhapuchhre and Annapurna Range. Itinerary

  1. Day 01 Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu

    • Your journey begins as you arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu.
    • Transfer to your hotel and settle in.
    • Take some time to rest and recover from your travels.
    • Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the exciting city of Kathmandu.
    • Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

  2. Day 02 Drive to Pokhara (910m) Duration: 6 hrs.

    • After breakfast, commence on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara.
    • Enjoy the pleasing landscapes and cultural sites along the way.
    • Arrive in Pokhara and check into your hotel.
    • Spend the evening exploring the charming lakeside city.
    • Overnight stay in Pokhara.

  3. Day 03 Drive to Phedi and trek to Pothana (1,925m) Duration: 4 hrs.

    • Drive to Phedi from Pokhara, then start your trek to Pothana.
    • Trek through lavish forests and traditional villages.
    • Arrive in Pothana and settle into your accommodation.
    • Take some time to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
    • Overnight stay in Pothana.

  4. Day 04 Trek to Forest Camp at Kokar (2,600m) Duration: 4 hrs.

    • Begin your trek to Forest Camp at Kokar.
    • Journeythrough dense forests and admire the biodiversity.
    • Arrive at Forest Camp and unwind after the day's trek.
    • Enjoy the peacefulness of the mountain environment.

  5. Day 05 Trek to Low Camp (3,150m) Duration: 5 hrs.

    • Rest and acclimatize to the higher altitude.

  6. Day 06 Trek to High Camp (3,600m) Duration: 4 hrs.

    • Trek from Siding Village to Lumre, where you will meet your transport.

    • Spend the evening exploring the lakeside city one last time.

  8. Day 08 Trek to Siding village (1,750m) Duration: 6 hrs.

    • Descend from High Camp to Siding Village, retracing your steps through the mountain trails.
    • Enjoy the downhill trek and the changing scenery.
    • Arrive in Siding Village and immerse yourself in the local culture.
    • Relax and unwind after the day's trek.

  9. Day 09 Trek to Lumre and drive to Pokhara (910m) Duration – 3 hours walking and 2 hours driving
